Merge PDF

Merge PDFs in three steps

1. Open the Merge PDF tool and select the PDF files you want to combine.
2. Drag the file cards into the order you want. The first card becomes the first section of the final document.
3. Select Merge PDFs. When processing finishes, your browser downloads the combined file.

Check the order before downloading

File names are not always enough to identify the correct sequence. For documents with a cover page, supporting documents and appendices, place the cover first and work through the document in reading order. Open the result once after download and check the first, last and transition pages.

Keep the original files intact

Merge PDF creates a new document; it does not modify your source files. Keep the original PDFs until you have checked the result. This is particularly useful if you need a different order later or want to remove a page.

Limits and supported files

For a reliable experience on desktop and mobile, NeroTool accepts files up to 25 MB each, up to 30 PDFs at once and 100 pages combined. Password-protected or damaged files cannot be opened by the browser and should be unlocked or repaired first.

Merge PDFs for a cleaner document

Merging is useful when related files need to become one PDF: a report with appendices, a form with supporting documents, or several pages prepared for one upload. Keeping the files together reduces repeated attachments and makes the final document easier to organize.

Plan the page order first

Before merging, place the files in the intended sequence and check filenames, page counts and orientation. This is especially important when combining a cover page, main document and supporting material. Keep the original PDFs so you can rebuild the combined file if the order changes.
